The 2024 Publishing Accessibility Action Group Conference (PAAG Con) will be held on September 19th and 20th at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University. The 2-day event will welcome speakers from across the publishing sector and other accessibility experts and will have a particular focus on how to prepare for the requirements of the European Accessibility Act.

Attendees will look at the practical uses of accessibility metadata, both from the publisher and the end users’ point of view.

Pellegrino will illustrate the importance of accessibility metadata in expressing accessibility features, both inside the EPUB3 and outside in ONIX and how critical it is to display this information for the European Accessibility Act and beyond.
