Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024. Events on accessibility

Conferences

Accessibility is a central theme for digital publishing today. For this reason, numerous events addressing this topic are included in the program of 2024 Frankfurter Buchmesse (October 16th – 20th), the most prestigious international book fair for professionals.

Below is a list of events on accessibility, bringing together international experts. Among these, two seminars organized by LIA in collaboration with international partners and in the contest of APACE project. International Supply Chain Seminar 2024

The speaker programme will focus as always on standards and best practices, real-world case studies, and strategies that use technology to extract the most value from the supply chain.

Similar to Taylor Swift’s evolving musical eras, the publishing industry has recently transitioned through various phases: e-books, subscription models, big data. Now, it has entered the era of accessibility, with publishers and all actors in the value chain working to meet the upcoming European Accessibility Act deadline in June 2025.

Are you ready for June 2025? How publishers can prepare for the European Accessibility Act
